Camping Trip to Merchant's Millpond State Park

We camped at Merchant's Millpond State Park November 15 and 16, 1996. This North Carolina state park is near the Virginia border. Take the Roanoke Rapids exit off I95 and head east.

When we arrived, the scouts helped unload the vehicles. Mr. Wormald's truck was not only full of equipment, he also carried the canoes! Mr. Wormald and Scouts

Later in the hike Scouts walking past the swamp we marvel at the natural beauty of the park.
