We camped at Camp Campbell February 21, 22 and 23, 1997. This Occoneechee Council camp is just inside Virginia on Kerr Lake. Just after setting up camp on Friday evening, it started to rain. Just made it!

Saturday, Mr. Wormald instructs Mr. Wormald and Scouts John Couture and J.P. Carlin on climbing techniques. His exercises were played out our horizontally using a tree, but the lessons learned will be valuable.

It seems like the most important camping activity is cooking. Everyone gets into the act when hunger strikes. Donovan Cozzens and Ben Hanley Donovan Cozzens and Ben Hanley get their cooking gear in order in preparation for dinner.

Aditya Devalapalli and J.P. Carlin Aditya Devalapalli and J.P. Carlin work together to prepare a feast for the Roadrunners patrol.

Not to be outdone, the adult food was Chile Scouts walking past the swamp prepared by Mr. Plaia. By the time it was ready, chilly was the weather as well.
