We arrived early Saturday morning in the Christ the King
parking lot. Here, newly elected Senior Patrol leader J.P. Carlin
consults with Assistant Scoutmaster John Harrison.
After we arrived at the camp, the scouts and leaders quickly unpacked
and set up camp.

Mr. Fairhurst worked with some of the scouts on knot-tying.
Scoutmaster Mr. Badders
shows a scout the proper method to sharpen an ax. This is just one of the
requirements to obtain a Totin Chip.
Mr. Badders Scout jacket
is a testament to the activities of his troop in Pennsylvania in the sixties
and seventies.
Assistant Scoutmaster Mr. Couture
helps several scouts advance to the Tenderfoot and Second Class ranks.
Later in the afternoon, the troop played soccer on the field in the first photo. The Scoutmasters and Dads have YET to recover from this activity. The winning team benefited from a great kick by Adam Badders.
On Sunday, we did not need to rush, since the campout was so close to
home. After breakfast, the tents were taken down, and the packs lined up
to depart.
Before we piled into the cars, we performed the morning Flag ceremony,
and a church ceremony. Then we headed home.
