The excitement started as we got ready to leave the
Dairy Queen parking lot. All the parents were making sure that their scouts
were prepared for the week ahead. Here Scoutmaster Mr. Badders explains
the last details to everyone. |

Not satisfied with the relatively low level of fun
the trip to camp was currently showing, one of the troop trailer tires
blew out in Chapel Hill on I40. Mr. Badders DID

camp as we checked in. |

It was rather warm that day. We were
all hoping we needed to take the swim test. |

One of the highlights of the camp is the hike up
to "The Knob". Located about 1100 feet above the main camp, the
view is breathtaking. |

This is what it looks like from camp, near the trading
post. The Knob is the small light spot, just to the right of center near
the top of the peak. |

On Tuesday evening, Troop 208 visited the archery
