Troop 208 visited Camp Durant November 19,20 and 21 of 1999. Organized by Assistant Scoutmaster Mr. Badders, the objective was Sports and Advancement.
The troop begins the day on Saturday with a flag ceremony after breakfast. Ben Miller, Forrest MacConnell and George Sawyer raise the flag while the troop stands at attention.
The scouts that brought their bicycles headed out at 9:30 and took on the trail that goes around Durant Lake. From left to right Ryan Burkes, J.T. Desern, Assistant Scoutmaster Tom Link, Cody Burkes and Randy Burkes.
After a hobo lunch, adminstrated by Assistant Scoutmaster Mr. Bond, Assistant Scoutmaster Mr. MacConnell works with Justin Webb and Bryan Seigler on a scout requirement to measure the height of an object.
A game of Ultimate Frisbee brought out Michael Mayse, Cody Burkes and Chris Couture in the photo on the left.

On the right, Assistant Scoutmaster Mr. Badders snags the frisbee before Sheldon Whitcher could get it.
But not everything at camp is frantic fun. We have quiet moments as well. Stephen Mayse and George Sawyer look out at the sunset over Durant Lake.
