Suggested Packing
1st Rule of Thumb: If you cannot carry it
.Do
not pack it!!
2nd Rule of Thumb: Do not pack more than you
may need.
3rd Rule of Thumb: You are an Ambassador for
Boy Scouts of America and the USA!
4th Rule of Thumb: Pack clothes for layering.
The weather is unpredictable.
Must have the following:

Soft sided luggage (Check one bag, carry on your day pack)

Sleeping Bag

Sleeping Pad
-
Small Pillow (or inflatable pillow)

Class A Uniform Must be clean and pressed (suggest getting
a military press at a laundry)

Class B Uniform Bring your red T-shirt and any other Scout
T-shirt!

Towel and Washcloth
-
Toilet Kit (Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Shampoo, Shaving Kit,
Deodorant)
Suggest you have the following:

2-3 pairs of Jeans (no ratty jeans!)

2-3 pairs of shorts (no ratty shorts)

1 pair casual slacks

T-shirts
-
At least 1 shirt with a collar (for Resturants)

Underwear
-
Comfortable walking shoes (good tennis shoes or walking shoes)

Sufficient socks

Camera and film
-
Small Umbrella that fits in a day pack (It rains a lot in
June in England!)

Light Jacket or rain slicker (Evenings can be from cool to
cold!, especially near Liverpool)

Sweat Shirt.

Hat (e.g. Ball cap)

Knife, Fork, Spoon set, Plate and Mug (for second week)

Paperback Book to read on Airplane
Note: We will do a single group laundry on either Saturday
or Sunday at a public laundry. We will also have 2-3 group duffle bags
to stuff sleeping bags and pads.
