Sean Morrison displays his cooking skills to his patrol as he cooks breakfast Saturday morning to pass the First Class cooking requirement.
After breakfast, the troop gathered for our morning flag ceremony.
Later in the morning we begin our hike up to Hanging Rock.
The troop nears the base of the rock formation.
We were only a few minutes away from the peak was we passed beneath Hanging Rock.
Scoutmaster Mr. Whitcher commands an exhilarating view.
Several troop members approach the edge.
First Class cooking continues as Jeffrey Vohlers prepares a hot lunch for his patrol.
Jeffrey was the only scout to brave the other peak in Hanging Rock State Park, Moore's Knob. Jeffrey is on an observation tower looking down at Hanging Rock in the distance.
Mr. Wormald is near the edge as we look down on him from the tower on Moore's Knob.
One final view of Hanging Rock before we hiked back down from Moore's Knob.
