Troop 208 visited the New River September  May 18, 19 and 20, 2001. 38 people went on the trip, and all paddled the New River.
Mr. Greenwood showed us how 4 wheel drive works in the mud.
The day started with pouring rain. Lucily we had not placed any tents here.
The scouts work hard at preparing breakfast in the rain.
This is what our tent city looked like.
This is the raft commanded by guide "Scary Terry". All the rafts stayed upright.
Mr. Whitcher and Mr. Link work on the adult meal.
The whole crew poses in front of the New River.
